Pinpoint — Location-Based Info Marketplace

Pinpoint is a two-sided marketplace connecting people who need eyes on a specific location right now with nearby people willing to go look. Post a request pinned to an exact address, set a price starting at $1, and someone nearby claims it and sends back GPS-verified photos, video, or a real-time update — usually within minutes.

Example requests people post: checking how long a line is outside a venue, confirming whether a parking lot has space, seeing the current vibe outside a building before an event, or getting a live look at road or weather conditions in a specific neighborhood.

Every request is backed by escrow-secured payments processed through Stripe: funds are held until the requester approves the delivered content, and are automatically refunded in full if a request goes unclaimed, a provider misses the delivery window, or a dispute is resolved in the requester's favor. Delivered content is GPS- and EXIF-verified against the request location to confirm it was actually captured there.
